The Delekta Review

Tram-Tram on Carrer Major de Sarrià takes its name from the old tram that ran through the neighbourhood until 1967 — and the restaurant carries that same sense of continuity. Chef Isidre Soler, a Bulli alumnus, and Reyes Lizán have been running the room for thirty-five years with a quiet kind of discipline: honest cooking that refuses to be seduced by the siren song of trends. The tasting menu runs €60-80 for seasonal Catalan cooking at a high level — game in season, traditional rice, suquet, truffle preparations and classic desserts that honour the canon. The dining room is warm and traditional, and the garden terrace adds real charm. The clientele skews local and older — people who value consistency over novelty. The kind of restaurant where your grandmother would feel at home, but the cooking is exceptional. Not flashy. Built to last.
