Rafa Zafra (Alcalá de Guadaíra, 1981) trained at the Seville Hotel School and ran the kitchen at elBulli's Hacienda Benazuza when that hotel held two Michelin stars; in Barcelona he co-founded Estimar (2016), then Casa Jondal (Ibiza, 2020), Amar (Mallorca, 2022), and the first Per Feina at Ciutat de Granada 130 in Poblenou (2022) The Poblenou Per Feina closed in summer 2025 — the affordable-luxury menú-del-día maths didn't add up in that neighbourhood. Zafra reopened the concept on 20 February 2025 at Via Augusta 9 with managing partners Anna Gotanegra and Ricardo Acquista; head chef Stefano Schirru (Estimar opening team) and dining-room manager Mireia Jordan complete the lineup
Ninety-two indoor seats plus a fourteen-seat terrace — interior by Cristina Carulla Studio, warm wood with seventies-formica details and blood-red accents Spacious bistro register rather than fine-dining formality — the room is designed to absorb a lunchtime work crowd and a longer dinner pace from the same space
