Refined restaurant set around a 19th-century villa garden in upper Sarrià — tables scattered around a still pond, greenery closing in, and a patio that convincingly pretends to be the Italian countryside. The setting is the primary draw and it earns that status: there are few dinners in Barcelona this transportive. The Mediterranean-Catalan kitchen keeps pace, with a steak tartare that regulars come back for, carefully sourced seafood, and seasonal dishes that don't coast on the architecture. Service is polished, wines lean Catalan with confident French detours, and the crowd skews local-professional. Prices are clearly premium, reflecting both the Sarrià postcode and the theatre of the room, but for a birthday, anniversary or any long lunch that needs to feel like an event, it's hard to fault.
