Tosca Palau on Carrer de Sant Pere Més Alt sits directly opposite the Palau de la Música, which means the location does most of the marketing. But the food delivers more than it has to. Open 11am to 1am daily (unusually long for Barcelona), with more than 40 tapas, three varieties of sangria, and local craft beers. Tuna tataki, curry mussels, grilled salmon with bok choy, beef tenderloin with mushroom sauce, and the reliable standards (padrons, braves, calamars) form a menu that is broad rather than deep. Diners report six tapas, four drinks, and a dessert to share for around 50 euros. Honest, crowd-pleasing tapas in an attractive modern setting — nothing you eat here will change your life, but nothing will disappoint either. For a pre-concert dinner opposite the Palau, or a late bite after most of Barcelona has shut its kitchens, Tosca fills the gap reliably.
