Rabbit's Bar on Carrer de Ganduxer occupies the narrow ground between a classic neighbourhood bar and something more polished — a format Sarrià-Sant Gervasi has been waiting for without quite articulating it. The concept is informal portions built on premium product: croquetes with fricandó filling, navalles that arrive enormous and impossibly fresh, oysters opened to order, and a torrija that has become the bestseller of the house. The cheesecake draws consistent praise and deserves it. The atmosphere is fun and vintage-inflected, with a team that recommends honestly rather than upselling. The barri has adopted it as its own. Honest caveats: prices are high for what remains, technically, a tapas bar, and service can waver at peak times. But the ingredient quality generally justifies the premium, and the overall proposition — real tapas with personality in a neighbourhood that needed exactly this — is a solid one.
