Awards: Michelin Selection
Contemporary Catalan seasonal restaurant with natural wine focus, offering refined tasting menus in a minimalist atmosphere.
The Delekta Review
Osmosis in the Eixample is chef Raúl Roig's exercise in democratic fine dining — Michelin-recognised cooking at prices that would barely cover a starter elsewhere. The lunch menu runs 28€. The tasting menus at 48€, 70€, and 80€ deliver five to seven courses of creative, seasonal Mediterranean cuisine. Sommelier Unai Mata curates a cellar of over 100 wines and his pairing recommendations are a genuine highlight. The menu rotates every three weeks, built around whatever the market delivers. The space is minimalist and cosy, split across two floors. Roig trained in multiple starred kitchens and brings that discipline to a neighbourhood restaurant format that feels nothing like fine dining in the stiff sense of the word. This is the kind of place Barcelona does better than almost any city: serious cooking without the ceremony or the bill to match.
