Awards: Bib Gourmand
Bib Gourmand-awarded modern Catalan restaurant with just six tables, offering daring tasting menus from €24 to €72 in the quiet heart of Gràcia.
The Delekta Review
Jonatan Izquierdo and Laura Humanes run one of Barcelona's most compelling small restaurants — just six tables tucked into a quiet Gràcia street. The Bib Gourmand from Michelin is well earned: three tasting menus (Herrén at €24, Oníric, and Somni at €72) deliver daring updated Catalan cooking at prices that feel absurdly generous. The four-tomato salad with boquerones showcases heirloom varieties in tomato essence; skate in brown butter arrives with capers and purple cauliflower; the torrija reimagined as a custard-filled cylinder is quietly brilliant. Izquierdo's technique is precise but never showy, and the sourcing — sourdough from Montserrat, seasonal produce — reflects genuine craft. An intimate, unhurried meal that rewards advance booking.
