Casual Gràcia seafood bar where the day's menu is written on tiles along the wall and the catch rarely lasts beyond lunch. Grilled calamar, scallops, cloïsses, the small anchovied olives that keep appearing unannounced — the list reads like a market docket because that's exactly where it came from. No reservations, standing-room at peak hours, a marble counter that fills with neighbours and the odd lucky visitor. The informality is the whole point: the cooking is clean, direct and confident enough to let the product do the talking. On a good day, what arrives from behind the counter in Torrijos rivals anything coming off the Barceloneta waterfront, for about half the price and none of the pretension.
