On the Rambla del Poblenou, Els Tres Porquets looks like the ordinary bar de barri it technically is — until the food arrives. Marc Cuenca cooks strictly to market: what comes in that morning shapes what ends up on the plate. Around twenty seats, barrel stools, a few proper tables, and tapes that are a clear cut above the average — the truffle risotto and the sobrassada-camembert croquetes are the ones regulars order without looking. The wine list pulls its weight with honest mark-ups. Prices run on the higher end for a Rambla bar but stay fair for the quality. Reservations strongly recommended; the room fills fast.
