Cruix on Carrer d'Entença earned its Bib Gourmand for creative Mediterranean cooking that delivers tasting-menu ambition at accessible prices. Chef Miquel Pardo builds two menus — Classic Cruix (11 courses) and Grand Cruix (13 courses) — around superb rice dishes and inventive small plates that draw from Catalan and broader Mediterranean traditions. The exposed-brick dining room has an informal warmth that belies the technical precision on the plate. The rice courses are the highlight — cooked with the concentration and timing that separates good rice from great rice. Near Plaça d'Espanya, away from the tourist corridors, this is the kind of restaurant Michelin's Bib Gourmand was invented to celebrate: serious cooking, honest pricing, genuine hospitality.
