Cádiz-style tavern crossed with a French wine bar. Recognised for majestic 650-bottle wine list and Southern Spanish delights—regañá with Russian salad, Barbastro tomato salad, classic fricandó.

The Delekta Review

Kim Díaz's vision for Bodega Solera was specific: a Cádiz-style tavern crossed with a French wine bar, in the heart of the Eixample. Chef Dani Sánchez, formerly second-in-command at Bar Mut, reworks the classic bodega tapas he grew up with — simple combinations, but done really well. The wine list is the quiet powerhouse: over 650 references where natural wines integrate with classics under the motto wine for everyone. The regañá with ensaladilla rusa, the Barbastro tomato salad, and the classic fricandó form the core. The vibe is unapologetically loud: Andalusian tavern meets Barcelona tapas bar with flamenco at full volume, and diners who are even louder. Some guests report small portions at premium prices, which is a fair observation for a bodega format. But for those who treat the wine list as the main event and the food as excellent accompaniment, Solera delivers. Late hours matter in the Eixample, and the kitchen runs well into the evening.
