The format is traditional seafood tapas: fresh, honest, no-frills, priced with the neighbourhood in mind rather than the tourist trade a few blocks over. Fried fish platters, razor clams on the plancha, a short list of cold seafood pica-pica, vermut on tap, cañas cold enough to sting. The terrace on the Allada-Vermell passage is one of the more pleasant sits in this part of the Born — broad, leafy, genuinely local most of the time, rarely overrun. Prices stay accessible for the district. None of this is complicated, and that's the case for it: the kind of neighbourhood bar that actual neighbours use, offering Born seafood tapas without the performance most of the street has adopted. Walk-in works, the terrace is worth the wait.
