The setting alone justifies a visit — a Modernista building with high ceilings, elaborate chandeliers, original mouldings, abundant natural light, and a private garden terrace that is one of the Eixample's hidden pleasures. The cooking is contemporary Catalan with deep respect for tradition. The Menu Tradicions at 39.90 euros is remarkable value; the VIP menu around 75 goes deeper. The cellar holds over 400 labels.
