MR PORTER runs a serious meat program: a roster that climbs from hanger and skirt through rib-eye, bone-in filet, and Japanese Wagyu A5, plus the house-signature Mr Porter (1200g) and Mrs Porter (750g) cuts for a table that wants to commit. The range beyond the grill matters here — beef tartare with beluga caviar and a seven-variation carpaccio menu (roasted potato with caviar among them) give the room more reach than most steakhouses bother with. Yellowtail sashimi is precise enough to belong in a far more discussed kitchen, and vegetable sides like black truffle polenta and cauliflower mac 'n' cheese outperform expectations. The honest criticism: the food reads as international jet-setter with no real nod to Barcelona. At €50–150 per head it's not cheap, but the kitchen earns it. Friday and Saturday DJs shift the register — come earlier if the meal is the point.
