Finorri opened in autumn 2025 in the historic Hotel Condal on Carrer de la Boqueria, and the team alone explains the buzz: Marc Vitega (ex-Enigma, Bar Cañete), Albert Soteras (ex-7 Portes, Neichel), and gastronomic director Josep Nicolau. Eating well in the Gothic Quarter finally stops being a miracle — a real shift in a neighborhood long written off as tourist territory. The signature stuffed calamari with aubergine, butifarra, and mushrooms has been consistently praised for its tender texture and balanced sauce, and the wine list is the kind that doesn't punish you: interesting without the usual Gothic Quarter markup. At around €45 per person, the value is strong for a kitchen of this pedigree. Michelin Selection came fast. Early days still, and the location means tourist foot traffic — but Finorri clearly targets Ciutat Vella locals, and the response from Barcelona's own food press confirms the aim has landed.
