Extra Bar on Torrent de l'Olla in Gràcia is a wine bar first, a tapas bar a very close second. The compact room fills quickly with people who care about what's in their glass — the list rotates constantly, leans natural and small-producer, and the staff pour with real knowledge rather than memorised scripts. The food holds up its end: seasonal small plates, well-chosen charcuterie, croquetes that land, the kind of short menu that trusts itself. The Gràcia location puts Extra in good company, but it holds its own through consistency and genuine warmth. Moderate prices, a room that gets pleasantly noisy as the evening progresses, and the easy conviviality that Gràcia does better than the rest of Barcelona.
