Bodega Borràs looks, at a passing glance, like another tired corner bodega in Sant Antoni — marble counter, barrels stacked along the wall, fluorescent light over the bar. Stay a minute longer and the picture reorganises. The wine list runs to 63 references, about fifteen of them by the glass starting around €5, and the curation leans firmly toward small Catalan producers the staff can actually talk about. The food reads as standard bodega on the surface — croquetas, tortilla, boquerones — but slips in the occasional sharper move: a deconstructed gilda with cured fish and vinegar, seasonal plates built from the nearby Sant Antoni market that morning. Prices stay in bodega territory, which in 2026 Barcelona is itself a minor miracle. Small, always full, poorly signed from the street — the sort of place you walk past a dozen times before someone tells you to stop. Book for dinner; lunch works better as a walk-in with patience.
