One of Sant Antoni's older tapas bars, reborn under the Casa Luz team — ambition that tells you they're not running this place on nostalgia. Famous gildas (the Basque skewer of olive, anchovy and guindilla) anchor the menu alongside a reliably excellent tortilla and honest cooking that doesn't try to reinvent anything it doesn't have to. The Carrer del Parlament address sits it in one of Barcelona's more dynamic food neighbourhoods, close to the renovated market, with a terrace that is rightly coveted. The bar stays busy from morning coffee through late-night natural wine by the glass without ever feeling rushed. Prices are accessible, the atmosphere is the kind that makes a quick snack turn into a long evening. A neighbourhood institution that wears its history lightly and serves generously.
