Awards: Solete Repsol

Algrano Bistró's Tamarit address — the dimmer, more atmospheric sibling of the Eixample original on Carrer de Casp, with the same handmade-pasta kitchen and a set lunch that's hard to beat in Barcelona.

The Delekta Review

The Tamarit location is where Algrano leans into atmosphere — quieter than the busy Casp original, with a soft, candlelit room that makes the older branch feel like a canteen by comparison. The pasta remains the point: wild boar pappardelle is rich and unapologetic, the ossobuco ravioli pillowy and precise, the linguine with smoked butter and Mediterranean red tuna earns its place. Wednesday night brings a truffle carbonara that cuts straight to why expat Italians keep adopting Algrano as the birthday-dinner default. The set lunch at €19–21 pulls from the same kitchen and stays one of the better-value propositions in Eixample. Repsol Solete recognised, prices fair for handmade pasta of this quality. Tamarit doesn't quite have the lived-in energy of Casp, but on a weeknight when what you want is one plate handled properly without ceremony, this is the address.
