Awards: Michelin Selection
The casual sibling of Alkimia by chef Jordi Vilà. Traditional Catalan cuisine with high-level technique. Caesar croquettes, rostit lasagna, cubist chicken. '
The Delekta Review
Al Kostat in Sant Antoni is the casual sibling of chef Jordi Vilà's Alkimia — a natural wine bar that doubles as a seriously good restaurant, earning Michelin Selection status in its own right. The seasonal sharing plates change with what arrives at the market, and the natural wine list is curated with genuine knowledge and passion. The cooking is honest Mediterranean with Vilà's technical pedigree showing through: Caesar croquettes, rostit lasagna, cubist chicken — the kind of food that lets ingredients speak rather than burying them in technique. The Sant Antoni room is small and casual, which creates exactly the atmosphere you want: the place where you go for one glass and leave three hours later having ordered the entire menu. Prices are moderate. The wine selection from small producers is the real draw, but the food holds its own — and that is the difference between a wine bar and a wine bar that Michelin notices.
