La Brillantina
Latin American Fusion · Gràcia, Barcelona · €€
Colombian-Argentinian Latin American fusion in the heart of Gràcia. Tostones, encocado, craft cocktails, and a lively open-kitchen vibe that keeps the party going.
The Delekta Review
A Colombian-Argentinian couple running a Latin American kitchen in Gràcia sounds like a recipe for identity crisis, but Santiago and Vanessa pull it off with real conviction. The green plantain tostones with goat's milk faiselle and pickled onions are addictive, and the encocado — a rich coconut milk broth loaded with monkfish, shrimp, and cuttlefish over coconut rice and yuca — is the kind of dish you think about days later. They do yuca flour tacos, proper empanadas, sharp ceviches. The space is casual and lively, with a big communal table up front and an open kitchen that keeps the energy high. Cocktails are well-crafted and worth ordering. One of Gràcia's most genuinely fun nights out.
