The open kitchen keeps things honest, and the arroz meloso de magret de pato y alioli trufado is the menu's clear statement, pulling away from the predictable seafront template. Arroz negro amb bacallà and paella a la marinera form the backbone; gildas, anchovy montaditos, and seafood croquetas earn their own attention. Whole fish rounds out a menu that leans Basque-coastal as much as Catalan. The 2024 reopening by Somos Esencia, a group running eight Barcelona addresses, shows in service pacing.
