Eldelmar in the Olympic Port is the Torres Brothers' seafood restaurant — Sergio and Javier Torres, who also run two-Michelin-starred Cocina Hermanos Torres. The concept is a gastronomic balcony over Barcelona's waterfront, large picture windows facing the sea. The menu is à la carte Mediterranean: oysters, rice and fideuà dishes, pasta, fish of the day presented live at the table. The wine list runs over 400 labels. This is not the Torres Brothers' fine dining vehicle — that is their eponymous restaurant — but their more relaxed, seafood-focused sibling, which comes with Michelin Selection status. The honest assessment: the seafood quality is high and the setting is genuine, but value and portion-to-price ratio concern some diners, and service consistency has been flagged. When the Torres name and the harbour view align with a good day in the kitchen, it works beautifully. Go for the rice dishes.
