Can Pizza landed in Barcelona in 2018 as an outpost of the Colombo brothers' El Prat original, and the Sagrada Família branch is the flagship: an old warehouse with a glass ceiling and red-and-white stripes, seating well over a hundred yet still rowdy most nights. The dough ferments 72 hours and comes out of a stone oven with proper char and chew - not dogmatically Neapolitan, not classically Roman, just confidently its own. Toppings are piled on more generously than Naples purists would allow: the Al Capone with nduja or the Italian Job with mortadella and pistachio are crowd favourites. Book ahead, especially weekends, when the queue on Passatge de Simó is a giveaway.
