Nikkei handroll bar on Carrer de Còrsega where Japanese technique meets Peruvian flavour in a minimalist space that feels more Tokyo than Eixample. Highlights lean toward the crossovers: ebi furai rolled with a chilli-garlic mayo, acevichado of tender seabass in spicy ají amarillo, a toro sashimi so clean and buttery it would travel well. For purists, the seared tuna nigiri makes the case that this kitchen could hold its own on either side of the Pacific. Counter seats are the correct choice — watching the chefs assemble each roll in front of you is part of the dish. Service is attentive without over-stepping, the design is genuinely considered, and the fish quality justifies the Eixample pricing. One of the more quietly exciting openings in contemporary Barcelona Japanese.
